Um, drool

I saw this article today over on People.com about Alexander Skarsgard down in Australia visiting with some cute little animals, and when I saw this picture, I immediately started cooing, awwing and drooling over it.

I was late to the Alexander Skarsgard party, since I started marathoning True Blood around the time the 6th season aired. My sister and some of my friends who watched the show always talked about how much they liked Alexander, and of course about how cute he was long before I saw the show. I knew who he was, thought he was cute, but didn't pay attention to him too much because I didn't watch the show.

However, when my Mom bought me Chromecast for X-mas in 2013 and I started using HBO GO to watch Game of Thrones, I decided to sit down and watch True Blood as well, since I had some spare time in the evenings and since I had heard so many good things about the show.

I initially hated Alexander's character (Eric Northman), but something happened towards the end of Season 2 in which one scene, he did something that apparently I found to be really cute (I'm being coy, lol) and all of a sudden, I had a newly formed crush on him. It came out of nowhere. I couldn't stop thinking about this man for 3 days, lol.

No, seriously. I COULD NOT stop thinking about him for 3 days. It was like I was obsessed with him. It was scary!

The obsession/crush subsided (phew!), but I still really like Alexander. He was always one of the best things about True Blood, and he always cracked me up with his demeanor, funny jokes and of course, I enjoyed looking at his *physique* during the course of the show.

When I saw this pic online today, I just thought he looked really good in this picture. The aww factor comes from him looking lovingly at this little... uh, whatever animal this is, lol. A wallaby? Hmmm. I'm bad at naming Australian animals off the top of my head.

Anyhoo... just wanted to post this cute pic today. Looking forward to seeing Alexander in Legend of Tarzan when it comes out.

Update (6/17/16): The cute little animal pictured is a kangaroo (duh).
